Research Phase Two

Experiments in cinematic expression

Phase Two of this research will consist of experiments in the use of audiovisual cinematic expressive elements to induce altered states of consciousness in the viewer. Each of the major cinematic expression elements (see below) will be tested with different sound voices, including MOS (silent), Sound Effects, Sound Environments, Spoken Words, Music, and Audio Entrainment Technology. Additionally, each audiovisual experiment will include testing in varying aspect ratios (full screen, widescreen) and viewing environments (handheld, desktop/laptop, home theater, movie theater).

Format, running times, and delivery mediums to be determined after the completion of the previous phase of research.
